Easily our new favorite local nursery, for a lot of reasons (oh, where to begin?!). First and foremost, they focus on native perennials; the kinds of plants you should regularly be seeing in the wild (some of which you still do, and others that you don't or really have to look for). We've been native-scaping our own property for the past 15 years (and have plenty more to do!), and while it's been getting much easier to find native options at nurseries the past few years, we've primarily done it through mail order. Now, we won't have to source as much that way AND Grasshopper offers larger, well-established plants for the same price as we typically get small plugs of plant starts in bulk through mail order. I love grasshopper perennials!!! Ann is wonderful. She is very helpful and knowledgeable and is excited about plants, just like her customers! If you stop by, make sure you have room in your vehicle because you will be leaving with more than you planned on! And join the membership club! It is a great deal and you get monthly plants. I can't wait to return! 🌳🌾🌷

Annie is fabulous and her prices can’t be beat! She had beautiful perennials and also some annuals. She works so hard and it shows! My sis in law and I love to come here and shop every year!! So much to choose from and a lovely drive. There is also a nice winery nearby you can check out after. Go see Annie!

Beautiful land and very good prices. Owner is friendly. A bit out of the way, but it's a nice drive if traffic on 340 behaves. Very good value for the plants makes the trip worthwhile. (And, like I said, the land it's on is very pretty.)
