Great Lakes Ace

I dropped 2 lawnmower blades off to be sharpened on 12/27/25. I was told by the employee that it normally takes one or two weeks for them to come back and they would call me when they’re in. After 2 1/2 weeks I called back to see if they were in or get an updated timeline on when to expect them and the employee just took down my name and was like yeah they should be back, but I don’t see them so I don’t know what to tell you and just basically blew me off. A week and a half after that I called back again and the employee said they would call me back after reaching out to the company they sent them off to. He called me back later that day and told me that the company who they sent them to wasn’t picking up the phone or returning his voicemail that he left him so at that point he issued me a

Beautiful store!! Associates seemed to take pride in the place, too. Very helpful, nice layout, very clean, and awesome new layout with tool partners Milwaukee, Dewalt, and Craftsman being highlighted in tool-crib style shelving & displays. I stopped for a p-trap and ended up browsing around like I was in a mini-big box store. I’m in skilled trades and haven’t used Ace much over the years, but if this is their new standard, I’ll be back. Great quality tools, nice selection. Convenient location! A+ visit, I even popped back in for a quick pic of the tool section, lol.
