Was referred to Great Lakes by my insurance agent when I had a water pipe burst at a vacant house I own. There was lots of clean up to do. They came and inspected the house and were very accommodating. That's until they found out insurance wouldn't cover it. They pulled out all his equipment and left. After talking to the owner we agreed to pay out of pocket. He said he would start the next day and have my wife bring a check for half. Very suspicious when the proposal had nothing on the document that stated what they would be doing. However, I agreed verbally. The next day they showed up at 8:00am. We have been networking with owner Bill Snow at Great Lakes restoration company for over 10 years mostly hired to remove the remaining fire damage smoke soot after the fire has been extinguished from building’s and houses. Bill called last week to ask if we can remove a melted plastic trash container off of the concrete sidewalk? Naturally I said yes as we have done this for many other restoration companies and contractors throughout Northeastern Ohio and today the job was scheduled to handle the work. The Blaster took care of it in just a few short hours later that melted trash can in front of the Cleveland Guardians stadium, Well it’s like it never even happened.

They don't provide free estimates. They wanted to charge $1k just to come out and provide a quote.

Great Lakes Building came in and did above and beyond after I had water damage on all three floors of my condo. They were easy to work with and always responded to any worries or concerns I had. I love how my condo looks and they left it looking way better than before. I will be referring Great Lakes to anyone who needs work done on their house.
