Had an old wood deck redone in Trex material by Great Lakes Deck Company. When I contacted them for a quote, Chris was responsive and it was very competitive (I got quote from 3 different builders). Additionally, one of his crew members (Ramsey) came out to measure before delivering the quote and he made a recommendation about the railing that really gave the deck a little character beyond my initial thoughts. When I contacted before making a final decision, I could not make a decision about Ramsay’s recommendation so Chris said not to worry they would bring some material at time of construction to show me how it would look and I could make a final decision at that time! Great Lakes Deck Company did a fantastic job rebuilding our existing deck. They were responsive and communicated well from the time of quote in the fall of 2022 through the completion of our deck in spring of 2023. Chris was very knowledgeable, offered helpful ideas and suggestions, and their quote was competitive. The entire crew was very considerate and professional. Our job was finished in the two weeks that they quoted. The crew (usually 2-3 guys) always arrived by 7:30 and worked at least until 5 or 5:30. They were very neat and cleaned up their tools and materials before leaving each day.
