Great Plains Tree Care

Prompt, respectful of property, dependable, and fast. I have used Great Plains for all my tree trimming and tree removal needs for the past 3 years. I learned about them through my next door neighbor. After I saw the work they did on their trees I was sold. Haven't looked elsewhere since. These guys know what they are doing. I mentioned fast above. I think its because they do not chip and shred onsite. Instead they put all tree debris into a large truck and compact it in place with the same piece of equipment they use to pickup all the branches. All limbs and branches are collected and put into a pile by the street and the machine does the rest. Very fast and efficient. Also cleanup is a breeze afterwards. Second thanks to the crew that showed up bright and early the next morning. Clearly this crew has been working together a while. Not only did they complete the removal of not just one, but three mulberry trees with stump grinding, as well as pruned / trimmed two other trees and were done before noon... WOW This was an interesting process to watch and as you can see I took plenty of photos. There were definitely a few times I was worried about the fence coming down or a tree landing on my house, but I stand to be very impressed. The crew showed up right on time, worked quickly but carefully, and did an incredible job removing trees and grinding the stumps around my property. I recently had Great Plains Tree Care cut a large maple tree down that was overhanging the neighbors and my house. They did a fantastic job and it was amazing watching how efficiently the whole crew worked together. I really appreciated the care they took to protect my lawn from the heavy equipment and how well they cleaned up when done.

I called to have them assess a neighbor's tree for safety-tree is leaning towards my house. Done the same day. Explained why the tree was not an immediate risk and what to look for. He eased my mind and gave me a quote to remove my tree (the roots were superficial and causing damage to the concrete sidewalk) and also trim the neighboring tree. The quote was affordable and I couldn't pass. They were fast, efficient, and professional. They did a great job on yard clean up.
