Green Asphalt

The pollution its causing is extremely concerning. They aren’t doing anything to remedy the problem. We cant breathe the air down wind of it. Please shut it down.

As horrendous a company there can be. Poisoning the air all throughout greenpoint, which is a large family neighborhood with small children and tons of schools. The people who run this company need to be fully held accountable for what they knowingly are doing to the air quality

The emissions—both smoke and odor—emanating from this facility are deeply concerning and quite possibly in violation of environmental regulations. I live in Sunnyside, over a mile away, yet on many mornings, when my windows are open, my apartment is filled with a noxious, chemical stench strongly reminiscent of asphalt. This is unacceptable and demands immediate investigation and remediation. The facility should be shut down until it can operate without compromising the health and quality of life of nearby residents. I have lived here for over 5 years, and it seems each year it gets worse, not better.

I am a neighbor of this business and their operations produce horrible odors that ruin quality of life in the area. I anticipate that their emissions are harmful to human health and violate state law.

This place spews a pungent brew of asphalt fumes over Greenpoint from across the creek. The owner/operator is on the record repeatedly disregarding the concerns of community members and takes a don’t know, don’t care approach to the composition of his putrid exhaust. The “recycled” and “green” aspects are classic, cynical greenwashing. Almost all asphalt is recycled. To make things worse - if the state of our roads is any indicator, their product is absolutely garbage. NYC needs to shut this blight down.
