Green Basements & Remodeling

We had our garage completely renovated and turned into an office/entertainment space with a small bar area. From the beginning design stages to the final walkthrough we were very impressed with Green Basements and Remodeling. They removed the garage doors, put in insulation, installed windows and a side door, installed flooring, built cabinets/shelving, ran electrical, installed a new AC unit, and took care of all the small details to make our space perfect. Our new room is absolutely beautiful and has received tons of compliments from friends and family! Our PM, Mike, was incredibly responsive to our questions and every member of the construction crew was friendly and respectful of our home. I simply love the new kitchen and flooring installed by Michael Thomas and Green Basements and Remodeling last summer. The designer did a fabulous job of maximizing the space compared to how the kitchen was laid out before the remodel. The island is stunning! It’s never fun to live through a remodel, but the work was actually done a little sooner than was originally estimated. Michael was very responsive whenever I had questions or wanted to tweak a few things. He suggested additional pot lights in the kitchen ceiling, and that really brightens the space up. Even though it’s been several months since the work was completed, I still get a little thrill when I walk into the kitchen and see how it has transformed the house! We recently completed a basement renovation along with some additional work on the first floor with Green Basements. Overall, the project was completed and the space turned out well, and I want to specifically recognize Michael, the foreman we worked with. He was very responsive, helpful throughout the process, and easy to communicate with whenever questions or issues came up. Based on my experience with him, I would absolutely work with Michael again. That said, there were a few areas where my experience did not fully meet expectations, especially considering the cost of the project. The design support was not at the level I anticipated. My experience with Green Basements & Remodeling has been awesome! I had been planning to call someone about it and saw one of their trucks on my way home from work one day. I thought to myself that the truck looked very professional, and that was enough to get me to contact them. The initital measuing of the work area and the time in their office was very simple. They have a pretty good selection of products and I was able to pick out what I wanted pretty easily. You can physically see and handle their samples. Green Basements did an AMAZING job for us! Finished a 3500 sqft basement in 10 weeks Communication was extraordinary, via text messaging with your own team Any issues that came up, I was able to directly text the project manager and he would take care of it or deal with it in a timely manner. The finishing was 5-star and we have had zero issues. They took care of plumbing, electrical, framing, dry-walling, cleaning and basically everything you can think of to complete a dram basement.
