Sam Verano is not only incompetent but a very dishonest man. He destroyed our first slab of marble (claimed it had mud veins in it?!?) and insisted that we buy a second slab. After we bought the second slab he increased his bill an additional $2700; for a total of $3900 - for one small 6' bathroom counter top. So, after he destroyed the initial slab; our first choice; we had to drive to Cleveland to find a second slab; and Verano's bill jumped from $1200 to $3900! We should have listened to the owner of Mont Granite when he refused to recommend Mr Verano. Later, after Verano claimed our first slab was defective, he let it slip that his brother fell in love with it & wanted it for his own home; so... apparently we paid for his counter top too. This guy is bad news; STAY AWAY.
