Ordered a face cord of firewood in advance of the predicted upcoming snowpocalypse. They delivered the next day. Went out of their way to dump in a spot that was convenient for me to stack. Was prepared to see some green logs in late January, but the whole load was well-seasoned. Pleased customer

I called Groundtakers on a Monday with a vague idea of what I wanted in the front of my house -- some steps, a gravel walkway, something like that. In two days, Roger took my words and turned them into a beautiful installation that fills me with joy every time I look at it. I believe the work was reasonably priced especially considering that the project was executed almost overnight. I didn't feel taken or patronized. I will hire Groundtakers again when the need arises.

What I like best about working with Roger at Groundtakers is how responsive he is. When you call him, he returns the call. When he says he will meet you, he shows up on time. Sounds simple, but how many times have you had difficulty getting a contractor to actually show up? Roger is great! He's honest, he's fair, and he wants you to be happy with his work. I would recommend Roger and his team to anyone.

I first called Groundtakers to help me with a problem with moles and after 3 visits the moles are no longer a problem. He made sure to let me know when he stopped by to check on the moles and he got the job done. Then we asked for a bid on a landscaping project in the backyard and he came and we talked thru some options and he gave me a quote that was better than the other two contractors. We really like the work he did, very professional and fast.

Ground Takers has provided mulch services to our preschool Kennedy Heights Montessori Center on two occasions. We were in need of mulch on the playground for safety and licensing requirement. The company we had used prior was too pricey and couldn't service us quickly. Ground Takers responded the day of each time I called for services and gave us a good price. They provided exactly what we requested both times. They were professional, efficient and cleaned up after the job. We would recommend them and will be using them in the future for our mulching needs.
