Grover Electric & Plumbing Supply

My last visit, I experienced pretty poor customer service from service counter. I understand that people have bad days at times. Really don't want to get into too much detail on this review page but left the store feeling like I was a problem. Usually the help I get is pretty professional and I get a good outcome. Just not this day.

Went in 8/17/25 around 1130-1145. The ladies at registers were very welcoming and helpful and directed my wife and I to where we needed to go but I cannot say the same for their male counterparts. I asked one of the gentleman if they had a couple of products (one of which was heat end caps to cover wires at the end, they don't carry them which is odd considering they're an electrical and plumbing store, to be clear they have heat shrink connectors but no covers) he was very stand offish, and couldn't be bothered. Very unprofessional and have no idea what his deal was. He answered our questions just had a bad attitude overall. Unfortunately i'm going to have to go to the big box stores and shop online going forward. So much for supporting local.

We used to go to the Grover in Medford and always had a great experience. This one is just as good. At Grover, you take pictures of things you need and they help you out, even if it sends you elsewhere. We bought some plugs for appliances since we moved never to Grants Pass. My wife called because some of the wiring was different and they talked her through the process. It worked amd we are done with that. We will always go there for things they handle as we know they go above and beyond!

I went to Grover’s because I needed help with my plumbing job. I grabbed a number and waited for them to call my number while they helped customers that came in after I did, they never called my number and continued to wait on other men. I finally went up and asked for help the gentleman that watched me pick up my number said oh I didn’t know you had a number…. They were finished with #81 I was #82. Hummm Their claim to fame of old fashioned service is not the case any more. I’ve have received better help at the Home Depot I’m sorry to say.

I have been a loyal customer since 1998 at the Grants Pass location. I have been to the Medford locations a couple times. I vote with my dollars and strive to "shop local" as much as possible. I priced a simple wooden elongated toilet seat from the "W" big box store at $14.98 so I called Grover on Grants Pass. For the same product the male voice on phone quoted $17 and change. So I bypassed "W" in favor of local and went to Grover. 15 minutes after I called Grover I am looking in the aisle and the least expensive option was $22.19...a bit more. So I request assistance from the service desk (in case I am in error) and I wanted what they quoted me on the phone 15 min prior. The gentleman jumped right up and escorted me back to the same aisle and pulls a seat off the shelf and says "$22.1
