Grover Excavation

I’m reading the 1 star reviews and laughing. The expectation of individuals is almost unrealistic. I’d like to add to the review list. Clayton and crew are outstanding. They have the right equipment and they know how to tackle the job. They communicate and are honest. They are not mind readers. They don’t know where you buried lines or what topsoil you felt you wanted. But if you need high quality excavation or drilling these are the best crew in northern Utah. They have always scheduled and shown up on time. I hope the bad reviews stop calling leaving me more space to get booked on their schedule. Thanks Grover!!

Grover excavation was hired by a neighbor to excavate for a power line for a new home. The tore out a 3 phase power line that runs my pivot. They first claimed that i did not have a permit for my line. I do have a permit. Now they will not return any calls and will not take any responsibility They claim I am liable because I installed a line 7 years earlier with a legal permit but I should not have put it where they were going to dig. (Makes no sense to me either). This is my only dealing with them but between their lack of integrity and my neighbors lack of integrity I know this will be my last.

Ordered topsoil and it’s almost all unusable. It’s very large chunks, hard and difficult to try and break apart, and can’t be evenly spread. It wasn’t screened and is poor quality. For $1,000 it’s not worth buying. If you’re looking for quality, go elsewhere.

Grover has good product at a good price. Quick delivery and I really liked using their pit run for the base to my gravel drive.

My septic tank is above ground. It sits 8 feet from a window allowing gas to come into the house. It is so close to the window that i can't cover it with dirt. Because water will just run into the window well fluding the basement.
