Review: On 7/1/2025, I had this company send a technician (Jason N.) to check why my water heater pilot light was out. I was aware of and agreed to the $152 service charge for the visit. The technician was only there about 15–20 minutes and admitted he had only been on the job 5–6 weeks. The company later confirmed that, but stated he has maby years of experience else where. He did not seem very knowledgeable, asked my adult sons questions instead of providing solutions, and ultimately told me that the “best option” was to replace my water heater. Afterward, I called the company to request another technician, but communication was poor— they said, I missed a call, and when I followed up, a few days later, I was told they could have come back out. Pete & Darvon were my installers for a tankless hot water system and they did a great job. Their workmanship is top notch, the routing of all lines is super clean and well supported as seen in the pic. I asked them to tie in the condensate line with the existing one for the A/C and they did as requested. They routed the exhaust outlet in a manner that was visually unobtrusive on the outside which was greatly appreciated. It was clear to me in talking to them that they took great pride in their craft and the installation affirms that, which in my opinion, is uncommon these days. The icing on the cake, considering the amount of work that was involved on this install is that G’s R price was very reasonable. They will be my go to for any future work.

We have used G's R for a couple of jobs with no issue. In April of 2023 they installed a $2800 high pressure water heater for us. After the plumber left I went upstairs and turned on the bathroom faucet and no water came out. I called them back and they said someone would be out the next morning. The plumber came out and unscrewed the aerator and cleaned out some sediment. He said that when they turned the water off and back on for the install the previous day the sediment was dislodged and clogged the aerator. I thanked him and he left. I later got a bill for $125 for a 5 minute fix that was caused by the work they did the day before ($2800 worth of work). We called on the phone and spoke with Erica initially she was very nice and helpful. She sent Jake out promptly and he was very professional and courteous and had our drawings and permit taken care of within the day. The day of the installation Pete arrived right on time and was exactly what I needed that early in the morning. He was fun, personable, knowledgeable, and kept us informed about what he was doing and why. I could not be happier with this group of people and will definitely recommend them to any of my friends for their plumbing needs. Thanks again G's R

Incompetent at rodding a sewer. Note: I reached out privately to have this matter settled before posting I first used their services 2 years ago when my sewer backed up due to roots. They came out promptly but the next day I was backed up again. They came back out and cleared my line for no additional charge. I chalked it up to maybe an apprentice being sent out the first time. I used their rodding service again early this January. Within less than a month I was backed up again. I reached out to complain and also inquire what their actual process for rodding a sewer was. I suspected they did not use the correct size knives for root clearing. I've done service plumbing myself and I am quite familiar with how to rod a sewer.
