Guardian Roofing

Guardian roofing installed Arctic Grey tilcor CF shingles on our roof. They very efficiently removed the old concrete shingles and installed the tilcor shingles. They were competitively priced compared to the concrete tile quotes we received and were right on the job with a quick completion as they promised. The owner of Guardian Roofing, Brent Woody, was right on the job actively supervising the installation and responsive to any questions we had. We have had many complements on the roof.

We had a Tilcor metal roof installed by Guardian Roofing, and wow you can't even tell that it's metal! The crew started at daybreak and worked till dark to get the job done each day. They were quick to solve any issues that came up. Each person on the crew knew their job and every day, Brent, the owner was onsite to oversee the operation and answer any of our questions. It was a pleasure working with this company.

The crew that worked on the roof were great. Also, the crew’s supervisor Rob was great. Rob would answer truthfully any concerns and correct any problems. Some of the problems were: not enough peel and stick to cover the roof. So, they tarped it over the weekend. Fortunately it didn’t rain. Although I had to nail down the trap because the wind had whipped it up and exposed my roof. Wrong screws. I had requested a premium screw. That was writing in the contract. Good thing. Seals for the ridge caps. Reattaching gutter brackets. Keep your eyes open and stay on top of things. That being said I would not recommend using them. The reason is the support team, the salesman, the office staff and bosses were difficult to deal with. Let me give you three examples. 1. They said it would be 4 weeks

I had Guardian install a corrugated type steel roof after hurricane Ian. It was a large project that required special planning and a degree of engineering. The company was exemplary in their work, the timing, the cleanliness of the job site and the quality of the materials and workmanship. They were competitive and fair in their pricing. I would recommend them to anyone and would be happy to have any prospective client come her for a look at their work.

Roof was completed fairly quickly after taking deposit and waiting 60 days for permit. Rep misled us into thinking it was filed sooner. I advise all clients to check with county on permit filing since certain contractors can't seem to tell the truth about filing date. (It's all online, Tyler, and now I know you didn't file when you said you did.) Regarding the work very haphazard with regard to debris on site and giving details about options. Grade: C-
