Tonight, at about 9:30 PM, I was nearly run down by someone I assume works here, considering they were parking outside of business hours. I walk with a limp due to a recent ankle surgery, and yet this person in their pristine white Alfa Romeo saw me, stopped, flashed their lights—as if to let me cross—and then sped up with the clear intent to hit me. Why? Because they claim I was “blocking” their driveway. Let’s break that down: I had my hazards on, clearly indicating I wasn’t parked to stay.
