Haffner's Propane and Heating Oil

Just recently switched over to them. They had to come out and inspect outlet tank and let us know it needed to be replaced first. After doing some research and getting other quotes from multiple companies, they still had the best price and could come the fastest without any emergency fees. I was so worried with everything in this house it wouldn’t go as planned. They kept reassuring me it’s all fine and will be done in half a day. Sure enough half a day and a beautifully shiny silver tank later we are up and running! They even spray painted the pipes to match! Didn’t know a tank could be so good looking. Happy to be a new customer

We been getting our oil from Ayer Oil since moving in the area four years ago. We also had them put in an awesome (Mitsubishi) mini-split system. Friendly staff, did a great job, works very well. When one of the covers on the outside conduits detached, a year or so after the job, technician came back quickly and fixed it.

Ayer Oil (now part of Haffner Oil) offers a mixed experience. Their technical service is good - the furnace technician was thorough, and oil delivery staff were professional. However, their customer service needs major improvement. As a new customer, I found phone interactions unfriendly and dismissive, with poor communication about their process. Email responses were extremely slow, often taking over a week. What's most concerning is their apparent lack of interest in new customers. They seem indifferent about attracting new business or retaining new clients, giving the impression that they don't value customer growth or loyalty. We had our oil tank replaced by Ayer Oil and it was a great experience. The techs were professional and very friendly. The install was flawless. We also use them for heating oil and get fast delivery. Highly recommend Ayer Oil for maintenance and home heating oil service.

I have used Ayer Oil for a number of years for oil delivery and furnace maintenance. The are very reliable with oil delivery; however, a few months ago I had an issue with their maintenance service. I had Ayer Oil perform the annual furnace maintenance service at the end of the season. The technician proceed to put a bunch of stickers all over my systems covering up my AC contractor and other oil companies. Shortly after the maintenance visit, I prepared my AC for the summer months. I discovered the fan was not operating. Upon investigation I found that the Ayer technician had cut the AC fan wire. I am not sure why that did this except to think they wanted my AC to freeze and then call Ayer Oil for service. I always thought that having the oil delivery company also maintain your fur
