Hammer Electric and Generators

after 3 months, I've recovered the nearly $5,000 I was overcharged. this, after I put in 3 days of cleanup after they left my house in shambles. thank god we hadn't moved in yet. (photos are of the dust they left). they quoted a 2 day job...ended up taking 10 days and more than quoted price. things happen, I get it...but at no point did they say why or how long the delay was happening. I do not recommend this business.

Ordered a generic generator from Lowes Hammer electric installed the generator has a 7 year warranty and included after one year free check up . Called for the check up never returned my call . Called Lowe's got me connected to Hammer electric asked for help with one year check up said we don't do that so I emailed copies that wasin the contract said I will check and get back to you two months still nothing. Called Lowe's said they would call for the one year service still nothing. So I would not recommend getting a 12000 dollar generator from Lowe's and definitely do business with Hammer electric what if it was a emergency and it wasn't working . Well where would I be after spending 12000 dollars. Sincerely Charles Mettinger.

I am working(or trying to work) with Hammer Electric to get a generator installed. They dropped off the generator and then needed permits. Now over 2 months after I got the permit approved, after that's what they were supposed to do. I'm waiting for installation. I've called several times, left numerous voicemails and no one has gotten back to me. So now here I am with a generator that is currently a hunk of junk and could have come in mighty useful with that nor'easter we just had. I had more than one installation date that they no called no showed me on. Poor communication at every turn.

I recently called the company for several projects around my house. Hurley came to look at the job and left. He never gave me an estimate. I called and got a young lady who said she'd ask him to send the quote again. I never received it. I've tried calling the company several times and all I get is voice mail. I guess they dont need or want my business.
