Hancock County Highway Department

I called this department and spoke to Paul Durham who promptly arranged inspection of my drainage ditch. Today ,if I recall his name Billie, did a hold star job along with the other men. Professional and courteous. I thank all for a job well done.

If your car is damaged on one of their terrible roads they will try everything to deny your claim. Their insurance company will call and ask you a bunch of questions to try and deny your claim. Know the speed limit and be sure you were going less than speed limit, be sure others had complained about the problem spot (they will lie to help deny your claim). If they go fix it after you your accident they will try to deny your claim. I can't believe I pay them my taxes for this.
