Harbor Freight

The store is nice enough and the people were friendly enough. I understand why people shop here, they have lots of stuff and it’s at a very good price. I looked online today to buy a belt sander and saw that this store had one in stock so I drove across town to pick up the sander and assorted belts and all the other junk that you get with it. When I got there, I went to the counter with the little tag I took from the shelf and all the other crap I was buying I was told that they didn’t have any in stock. He said the only one we have is the floor model and I can’t tell you that. So, he offered to check the web to check the other stores which I appreciated but the web said this store had one of these unit units and I didn’t feel like driving clear across town again only to leave empty-handed

Harbor freight tools are exactly what they should be for the price! Some are better than what they charge some could be better. My son‘s birthday was coming up and I wanted to set him up with a tool cart and a basic tool set. I went to Harbor freight with intentions of getting everything there that day, and when I saw that they were going to have a significant sale on practically every item I was looking at pending joining their inside track club. I was thrilled to save over $165. I joined the inside track club and when I went to pay for the items, the discount wouldn’t be applied because it takes a couple of days for the inside track club to activate and the discounts that were offered wouldn’t be honored on that day. At first, I was a little upset because nowhere on the discounted price

Solid local HF store. Nice to have one besides the single location on north 90th for years. Store is typically stocked well and easy to navigate. Staff has always been polite and helpful. Always look forward to seeing what new items or sales HF puts on!

I have gotten more and more impressed with harbor freight each time I go, the tools are getting better and better and are a lot more comparable to the more expensive tools like snap-on or other high-end than those high-end manufacturers care to admit. I was looking for a set of metric filter sockets, they're fairly large compared to regular metric sockets and I couldn't find them anywhere, and one of the people working there did a great job, they had one in stock and it was actually on a front table where they were highlighting tools from that particular manufacturer, it really did a lot to soothe my mood because I was irritable when I looked online and it showed they had it and I thought they didn't have it, it just ended up being in another spot and he exactly where it was. Gary was very knowledgeable about his store and I will return because of Gary. I did have hesitation on buying from this store due to a different employee, but Gary redeemed my faith in the store.. Thanks Gary
