My parents are getting older, and I wanted them close to me so I could help them. I wasn’t sure were to start but I thought an attached house would be best, ADU. After talking with several contractors in Bakersfield we decided on Hardt Construction Services. They seemed to be the most experienced and would take care of everything from the drawings, permits, construction and even the furnishings. We started in February of 2025 and just recently had my parents move in. I attached some pictures. Hardt’s staff was amazing to work with, I felt like they truly cared every step of the way and my parents absolutely love their new home. My husband and I loved working with HCS, they made the entire process smooth with little to no stress. We would definitely recommend HCS!

I had HCS the shop I had always wanted. I had called several local contractors but had mixed results. Some couldn’t supply the building, some only did the building but non of the stuff I wanted inside. HCS did the whole thing! I found them on the web and they had a great tool on the website that I could actually build my building online and put all the stuff I wanted, they called me the next day!!! I couldn’t be more happy with them, they took care of everything from beginning to end. They were on time and on budget. Thanks HCS, I should’ve done this years ago.

Amazing Primary Bathroom Facelift!! I love my old house, but I needed help with brightening it up, and Hardt delivered! I recently completed a primary bathroom remodel in Bakersfield, and the experience was fantastic. Michelle was a breath of fresh air! An appreciative comment from a happy client: I recently opened a new business in Bakersfield and I was looking for a qualified contractor to design and build out our commercial tenant space. I called several contractors, many didn't even show up and others where a work out of the back the truck contractors which is fine but not what i was looking for.
