Harkins Unique Landscapes just completed a beautiful memorial reading garden and walkway for our library this summer. The team took our thoughts and lists of needs and came up with a design that is perfect for our space. Jon understood our wishes and created the perfect outdoor atmosphere for our patrons to enjoy. The work the team did far exceeded our expectations. Everyone is thrilled with how wonderful it turned out. It is truly a masterpiece! Jon at Harkins Unique Landscapes did a great job adding river rock under our deck. The job wasn’t easy, fun or creative like most of their other water features or shorelines, but they were quick, on budget and awesome to work with on our project. Call them!

We had HUL do a couple things at our rural home: 1) Build a varying height retaining wall with landscape bed around three sides of a large deck (19 x 22) using a couple dozen boulders we had on site. You don't see it in the pictures, but there is a 3-4 ft planting area between the top of the wall and the deck. 2) Put in 400 ft of 4" drain tile to take water overflow from our Artesian well to a creek. They did a nice job, good communication, no complaints when I added some clarifications to the contract. When asked to make a couple reasonable adjustments for alignment (we wanted a different blend between the wall and existing sidewalk) and excess topsoil in the planting area, again, no complaints. Fast, neat and very easy to work with. He listened to what we wanted and drew up a plan that we only minimally tweeked. Plan on using him again in the near future. Highly recommend!
