Harley Services, Inc. Heating Oil

My experience started off with speaking with Mrs. Yoder in office for a price quote. She was very polite and professional. Pricing was very competitive, the lowest I found. My delivery was scheduled for three days out which was four to seven days sooner than other companies based on the extremely cold weather. I was not charged for the delivery until the evening prior to the delivery, other companies wanted payment upfront even though they were ten days or more out. On the day of delivery, the driver actually knocked on my door to confirm the delivery location and amount ordered were correct. I don't believe any other company has done this in the 28 years of having oil delivered. The purchase receipt was left in my mailbox just as the driver indicated it would be. Great family owned company. Always the lowest price in the area!! I always get my oil from this company! Today was one of the cloldest days of the year and we called and spoke to Emma. She immediately tried to do her best to get us taken care of. She was patient and also really understanding. She also told us about the farm they own and operate in Dover. This is what community feels like. Thank you Emma for taking care of us. For not leaving us in the cold and making an emergency change for my family!

Do not dismiss the reviews for this company. Every company has bad reviews, but this company seems to have an overarching theme to their bad reviews for good reason... My family has used Harley for oil delivery for years, though it was historically my father who dealt with them. He never seemed to have issues with them, yet all I ever got was poor customer service and condescension. Yet, we continued to use them, because who doesn't love a grown woman talking down to customers and condescending another grown woman. Last year, I called to get oil prices and schedule a delivery, but they told me they couldn't deliver to me and hung up. My father called right after and without any trouble, scheduled an oil delivery for the next day. My father has since passed, so he isn't here to save the day

I never used them. A simple phone call during the coldest month in years and they were rip off artists. $500.00 per gallon for 100 gallons plus nonsense over charges. They were taking advantage of people in the time when they were in desperate need of oil. I found places far less and didn't try to screw their customers during the artic freeze. I'll never use them and will tell everyone I know who has oil heat. 🙁

They are amazing, very accommodating and came the next day after a huge cold front! I am getting Ruth’s friends and family! Most friendly down to earth company I’ve ever came by. Highly recommend!!
