I had severe water drainage issues at my house causing my driveway to washout every time it rained. I called Jason Harris, he came out took a look. The problems were complex but Jason knew exactly how to fix them and he gave me a very kind estimate. Jason is very professional and a very motivated worker. His equipment is clean and well maintained. My yard is mostly a steep hillside slope, dangerous to work on but Jason has veteran level experience and operated his machines like they were a part of his body, he had no problem at all. The job i hired Jason to do was tough, he had originally estimated it would take him 7 days to complete the job, he worked hard the whole time he was here and finished on the 11th day. I contacted Jason Harris of Harris Excavating after finding their ad in our local paper. I had difficult driveway issues involving a culvert, erosion issues, leftover footers from previous entry walls, and large stumps on either side that need to be removed. In addition, I had numerous adjacent grading issues to be remedied. Jason came out immediately to take a look and discuss the project. While there, I had him look at our home's downspout failed drain lines. Jason provided estimates on time as promised. The estimates - one for the driveway, one for the downspouts - seemed reasonalble, indicated clearly the objectives and scope of each project, and addressed all concerns. I found an ad for Harris Excavating in the local paper and decided to give them a call. Jason came right out and gave me a free estimate. I was impressed by his knowledge and many years in excavating. I hired Jason to excavate the land for a building site. He scheduled me right away and was always communicating with me on his start date and finish date. He did a fantastic job. I was very impressed by how leveled the land was. He takes great pride in his work. He is very polite and very professional and his equipment is very clean and well maintained! I hope this Harris Excavating and Industrial Management (Jason Harris/Peebles. Ohio) did you better then he did me! Jason Harris word is no good also known as a liar. I picked him out of 4 or 5 other Excavating companies to complete a small job around Hillsboro in Highland County for me. Thought his bid was good way back in February 2025, this company himself kept telling me he was coming to do the project and never showed up to complete. Jason Harris has been deleting this post off of facebook (by blocking me) and Google reviews to protect his so called Excavating Company name but this is the whole truth. It was my first time using Harris excavating called. Talk to Jason about Driveway work. He came out same day gave me a quote that was very affordable. He loves his work and did a great job he cares about his work seems like a great guy. I would recommend him anytime and I will use him again.
