The 5 stars are for the technician. Tom was great! Personable, professional, knowledgeable and thorough. An asset to your company! The response time was very good. I feel as though the prices charged for the parts were exorbitantly high. I can’t say for sure though because the invoice was not itemized? I called the office and asked for an itemized invoice but did not receive one. I also inquired about service contracts, as the website is difficult to navigate and I could not find any info regarding the different contract options and pricing. I asked and was told it would be emailed to me. I am still waiting for that information as well. They had no problem charging my card on file. That part was seamless & instantaneous.

Been with Bay Fuel many years, great company. Now as Hart, no complaints. Friendly representatives on the phone and appreciate that someone answers the call late at night. Having a contract is reassuring because I know a service rep is on the way promptly. Today, technician Jose evaluated the boiler and knew what needed to be done. He didn’t have the part in the truck but did return very shortly with the new part and completed the service in a short period. Very neat, left no mess behind. Chatted a bit with all my questions. Jose is great, took time to address my concerns. Was greeted with a friendly hello and Jose even remembered servicing my boiler in the past. Thank you Jose!

During a January snowstorm, Hart Fuel (which took over Bay Fuel) declined to send 24/7 emergency service despite advertising and contract. The next morning I was repeatedly told a technician was “on the way,” but he arrived late, offered no apology, and seemed unaware of the delay. I had reported a faulty flow check valve and warned the delay could lead to frozen pipes; after an hour on site, the technician said the pipes were frozen and left. Management was unprofessional when I called, even suggesting I should have picked up the technician myself. I’m hiring another plumber to thaw the system and intend to pursue reimbursement and legal action for negligence and breach of contract. Hi Jacqueline, Thank you for your response. Terrible customer service. Understaffed and can not provide the service they charge for in their contract. We called for emergency service due to the fact that our house had no heat. They did not arrive for 18 hours. In that time the pipes in my house froze. They refused to fix the problem and left. We had to hire another company and pay over $1000. The owner and service managers are extremely rude and disrespectful. This company is great! I was on the h p spital 53 days and when I was discharged there was an issue with the burner. They came right out and tried to fix , cycled on correctly then overnight it quit. This was the Saturday before a big snowstorm. They sent a second technician who found the issue based on the other fix was able to replaxe the correct issue Would recommend them for all your needs.
