Harvestowne Irrigation

I have used a couple irrigation companies. The one that installed my system. Really did a poor job. I tried a second and they were okay but depended on the project whether they would come out. These guys help me understand the challenges with my install and what may need to be done in the future. I find them very responsive and they don't cut corners.

I've been using Harvestowne for 2 years now and I still could not be happier that I made the change. I had used a couple other irrigation companies for the last decade and nobody has made us feel appreciated as much as Harvestowne. They stay on top of scheduling, they send out competent techs, and their prices are respectable. What prompted me to leave this review today was the service of Brendan Hill. Very respectable young man, knowledgeable, straight shooter, and genuinely cared about not only how well the system was operating, but also my peace of mind as a customer. He took the time to thoroughly demonstrate and explain why things weren't working the way that they should be, and what it would take to resolve them. No smoke and mirrors. Requested a quote online and called by phone and only got a voicemail for sales to leave a message. Weeks later, still no response. Is this business still open?

Three stars for their service, which has been outstanding. They let me know when they will come out for start and stop of the system and call the day before to remind me of the appointment. Tech was great. My issue is that I received an invoice for some extra work that was done during the start-up visit. Had two heads replaced, the "rubber kit" (some gaskets, O-rings) replaced, and two stopcocks replaced. $80 for the labor, which I knew going in, so no problem. When I got the invoice, they charged me three to five times more for the parts than I could get them for on Amazon ($105 for a rubber kit?!!). I guess that's on me for not clarifying everything up front. I think I'll be looking for another company, next spring.

I had used a couple other irrigation companies in the past. Got no response and some issues from the 1st company that installed things not quite right. Good quality work, efficient and did things right and showed up 4 minutes early. This company is well run and will use them again. Great choice if you want things done right.
