Between getting older and health challenges it had become unsafe for my husband to step into the tub to take a shower. He is a veteran, so he applied and was approved for a HISA grant from the VA to remodel our bathroom. The grant did not cover it all but was a nice start. After being approved for the grant, we had to submit the name of our contractor with detailed drawings and specifications of our ‘plan’. Once our contractor and plan were approved, we had to meet a very strict timeline to complete the job to get the actual grant money. Lee helped us complete all the paperwork for the VA. My husband and I employed Have Hammer Will Travel for over ten years, until he moved out of the area. Lee has done all manner of indoor and outdoor work for us, and he has done all of it extremely well. Examples are tile installation, hanging wall decor, draperies, light fixtures, installation of faucets, interior and exterior painting, installation of large outdoor fountain, removing and replacing wood fence. He takes pride in his work, shows up on time and cleans up each day. We cannot recommend this company highly enough. It is a pleasure to work with them.

Lee was such a great worker, honest and affordable. He did the job right was true to his word. If you’re needing a worker to get it done without pulling your chain or wanting to take from you, Lee is the man. He will give you his opinion and give you multiple options to choose from and pricing at the end of the day you pay for what you choose. He even followed up to make sure I was please with the job.

Disappointed After Initial Trust I hired Lee, the owner of HAVE HAMMER WILL TRAVEL, a business located in Dunnellon, FL, to do work on both my master and guest bathrooms. He offered two options...a smaller job for $1,600 and a full job for $2,000. I specifically told Lee that I would go with the $2,000 option if he included installing the backsplash I purchased for my master bathroom vanity. He agreed to do it as part of the $2,000 Option 2 offer, which included more detailed work. When the backsplash was delayed due to a store cancellation, I reached out to Lee and asked him about the backsplash, since he had already completed all the other tasks in the master and guest bathrooms. Lee did an terrific job on several things in an efficiency for me. He installed laminated flooring, baseboards, assembled and installed kitchen cabinets, and backsplashes in bathroom and kitchen. Each one turned out great! I couldn't be happier with the work.
