Havertown Movers

I had the best move experience with Havertown Movers and I would highly recommend their service. From booking my move with Kim (I also had to cancel due to build delay and then rebook) the process was easy and pricing was clear and reasonable. The 4 gents I had on move day were so efficient, helpful and respectful of the properties and items they were moving.

I did not end up using them. I had an extensive conversation, text and emails with Kim Thursday. However, when I checked with her on Friday, she told me my dates were no longer available. That was so unprofessional. While I had not paid, we were still in conversation. If someone else was looking at those dates, the appropriate thing would have been to let me know I need to hurry and book if I want, because someone else wanted those dates. I would have done that if I had known but was not even a chance to know someone was looking at those dates. I think that was unfair and unprofessional. The price was high but I hear they do good work so I was willing to use them, yet they screwed me. I was quoted almost $3,000 to move to a 2 BR condo within 3 miles of my house. Had a really great experience with Havertown movers. We did both the packing and moving service and everyone involved was thorough and considerate. They were mindful of how things were packed so they wouldn’t break, and of protecting our walls and moving through our home carefully. They even labelled each box really specifically so when I needed to find something before I fully unpacked, I was able to. Good prices and excellent service, would use again.

My wife and I chose Havertown Movers because of the great reviews and the recommendations from every local friend we asked. Of course, they did a great job. But, for us they Truly went above and beyond. We are a military family and we were conducting a local move just a few miles away. We got late notice that our shipments were still going to need to be weighed after loading bc that is the gov't way. H.M. doesn't usually do that, but they moved mountains to find a local weighing station, get the proper paperwork for us, and keep good communication with us all along the way. We can't thank you enough!!! These are true professionals. I also, in my 20+ moves, have never seen a group of movers who seemed to enjoy each other and enjoy the job so much. That's a sign of a terrific organization. T
