Hawkeye Movers Ltd

This company cannot be trusted. I gave my inventory WITH measurements, given a quote, and paid my deposit. On the DAY OF THE MOVE the price was escalated by $3700 above my original quote. They CLAIM that my inventory exceeded what was listed. Keep in mind that I was slated to move one bedroom, office, and 40 med/large boxes. I actually only had 25 boxes (mixture of 8 small, 7 medium, and 10 large. When I was presented the updated price, I politely declined their services. The foreman returned 5 minutes later stating they'd take $1000 off!! Really? Finally, their truck was an old Penske truck that was painted over. This is a scam company and I'd RUN AWAY!!!! ZERO STARS!!!!!

I am the owner of Hawkeye movers and I was driving g on se diehle the other day. When my phone rang about my speeding ???? The gentleman was rude. The fact is that it is physically impossible for my truck and trailer to turn the corner and get to 40 mph in the distance I am accused of. It was also about 2 p m there were no children present .I instructed mr. Ballard to call the police department if he felt I was endangering any one. Hawkeye movers has a good r@ring everywhere with fhmcsa etc etc.The speedlight in this area is 25 Mr Ballard get your facts straight and quit lying to people on here thank you Ed Kasperbauer owner

Just called the company to complain about a driver doing 40 in a 20mph zone.... The guy admitted it and told me to call the cops... WHO WOULD EVER DO BUSINESS with a guy who doesn't care about kids lives.... Speed some more down residential streets .... Karma will come.....

The absolute worse experience ever after a month my furniture hasnt been delivered can't seem to talk to anyone and when I do they never have any solutions just more promises for another call back smh and they delivered someone elses stuff to me took them forever to come get that and I still dont have my furniture at this point im not even sure if they have my stuff lol its been a nightmare with these people don't say I didnt warn you!!!
