Matt and team did a fantastic job with various projects around the house. I'd been putting off some of these for years, unable to find a reliable handyman or get a clear quote to get the job done. I found Matt out of necessity when my roof leaked during some heavy storms, he sent someone out first thing in the morning on a weekend day to take a look and they were able to fix it right then. He priced fairly and his whole team was incredibly kind and efficient. I preface this review by saying this is an average of two issues. Ben was hired to redo my bathroom. At first he was very kind and seemed to be a good guy. Carlos was also very kind and did a great job. For the most part of the construction I was happy. The result in the end was good but there were a few things like the tub not draining right and the water pressure in my sink not being right. We brought up the issues to Ben and instead of just fixing them he said he couldn’t do anything. We withheld payment until it was fixed and he did end up fixing it but it was an argument with my husband and father in law. I really liked Ben and wished he would have been a little more professional in the end because I would have loved to use him on other jobs I had lined up but it left a bad taste in m

Hawthorne Construction (Ben and Matt) are amazing, seriously! In South Florida where it is hard to find reliable, hard working individuals, these guys get it done on time and at reasonable costs. We wouldn’t be more pleased with their work! They are a pleasure to work with and I can’t speak more highly of them! I will use them again for any project. I highly recommend them!
