Haywood Appliance - Clyde Showroom

Needed a new black dishwasher after ours finally gave out. I was off today so wanted to get it replaced while i was free to work on it. Went to Lowes in Sylva and then Lowes in Waynesville and they both had nothing black in stock and both said they could try to have one next week. I found Haywood Appliances in Clyde on Google and thought I'd give it a try since I was just down the road. I spoke to salesman Dan Cossart and explained to him what I needed and he said he could help me out. He showed me the dishwashers he had in stock that came in black, and said he could get me one from the warehouse today or I could buy the display to save more time. I bought the display and they wrapped and loaded it up in minutes. The price was the same as the others I had looked at from Lowes. I installed

Purchased a new microwave. The delivery team consisted of 3 guys. The eldest (and team leader) made painstaking measurements to ensure that the NEW holes he had to drill inside the cabinet would match the corresponding support hardware on the microwave. The other two guys were attentive and supportive, retrieving the needed tools throughout the installation process, but also contributed to the removal of the old microwave. The new microwave was gently lifted into place by the two assistants. NOTE: Many times, serviceMEN and installers will assume that women clients are somehow below their experience level, or that women are ignorant of the installer’s (obvious) work ethics and performances. As an older woman, I OBSERVED and questioned several things throughout this installation process

This is a great company to do business with! I called Cindy and she helped me find a refrigerator to fit our needs over the phone. She made the process fast, simple and easy. The refrigerator arrived much quicker than I expected. Brandon L. and Jon delivered and installed the new refrigerator in no time. These two gentleman were simply outstanding! I recently sold my home and learned that I had an issue with my microwave. I called Haywood Appliance for a repair. I stated that I was selling my home and wanted to pay in advance of closing. They sent me an invoice for $262.00. I thought that was a bit steep for a microwave repair but I paid it right away thinking everything was complete. Imagine my surprise when they sent me another bill for $149.00. It took their tech about 5 minutes to perform the repair. They have very deceptive pricing. If I had known I had a $400 issue I would have just bought a new microwave. Watch out. This place is a rip off.
