Let me preface this by saying that we previously had Hennessy remove gravel and lay sod in our backyard and they did an absolutely excellent job in summer 2024. We reached out in 2025 to ensure the overall health of the lawn based on Zach’s recommendations as the sod wasn’t a cheap investment. In May we paid $900 in advance for a 1.5 yards of top soil, dethatching, grass seed, peat moss and labor. A team came out in early August and laid some topsoil (not close to a yard), overlooking holes in our yard. They raked sections of lawn as opposed to the mechanical dethatching we expected (our bad for not clarifying). Lastly they overseeded and left thick patches of straw (as opposed to the moss quoted). These guys are great I’ve got about an acre and the mow every inch to perfection. My grass was terrible when I moved in last year now it looks amazing! Plus they come on time every week without missing a beat. Truly awesome!

I was beyond impressed with Zach and his massive crew. They stepped in on a complete lawn regrade and redesign after another landscaper bailed on the project last minute.
