Herb's Cabinet Shop

John Sanders, the grandson of Herb is an artist. His cabinet work is beyond anything on the market today. He's old school, he doesn't use fancy high tech design programs, everything is pencil to paper. Most of his work is by word of mouth, and referrals. he stands by his work. If you're lucky enough for John to hire you, you won't be sorry. Cabinet makers like him are few and far between.

John did our kitchen in 2012, (cabinets, large island and counter tops) and our laundry room in 2019. He was creative, flexible and reasonably priced. Was always here when he said he would be, was on budget and had great suggestions we never would have thought of! Was able to make minor changes throughout the process. Would highly recommend, he's a craftsman and an artist!

Do not hire this man. He bumped my installation date several times to take on "big" jobs. When he finally came to install the cabinets he didn't complete the job. Also most of the cabinets have pulled off the hardware/hinges. I would never recommend him.

His prices are incredibly low for the exquisite and stunning work he creates for a variety of home and offices. He builds and intalls and is true to his word.

During the cabinet installation he could not install the cabinets. I let him go and finished the job myself. The drawers have a 1/4" plywood bottom that does not hold the weight of my pans and I had to reinforce them.
