Their mowing job is adequate. They use zero turn mowers so you can expect your grass to be smeared flat where they've made sharp turns. Buy my low rating is due to the impunity they feel they had when my property was damaged. Be sure to take extra precautions to protect the more delicate areas of your house and gardens on mowing day.

I've been the liaison to Herker for my HOA this year. Consequently, I've come to experience, first hand, every detail of what George Herker and his folks provide. I've given them a rating of 5 not because they are amazing in what they do and always do a perfect job. Anyone who expects that lives in a fantasy world. Rather, I've given them a 5 because they do a great job for what they charge our community, they are extremely responsive to every concern or issue, they communicate very well when possible changes are in order due to inclement weather, and they are pretty darn consistent in the services they provide. If you are considering changing your lawn service company then I would recommend that you consider Herker as a potential supplier.

I enlisted Herker to perform slit seeding, and compost topdressing for our yard. I couldn't be happier with the service that was performed. The laid ample amount of seed and compost. I was lucky enough to be present throughout the entire process. They slit seeded in alternate directions to ensure proper coverage while taking great care to avoid any irrigation heads or valve boxes. Nice to know there are still companies out there that you get what you pay for.

This company is doing a great job with our community. The grounds have never looked better. While there are challenges in any community, Tony and his team are exceeding expectations for most of us. Thank you, and keep up the great work!

Not only does Herker do a great job in the summer, the snowplow crews are tremendous. Finally someone knows how to plow without blocking driveways. Well the second time around wasn't so good. Plows dug up grass curbside despite the presence of snow sticks. Driveways were unnecessarily plowed in.
