Landis and his entire team were absolutely outstanding—hands down the best HVAC service I’ve ever experienced! My furnace stopped working during a brutal cold snap, and I was worried about being without heat. I called them for what I thought was a small job, arriving the same day for a thorough diagnosis. Landis clearly explained the issue (a failed heat exchanger and aging system), walked me through all options honestly, and helped us decide on a full furnace and AC unit replacement that made the most sense for the long-term. A pipe burst during the deep freeze and we had reached out to multiple plumbers but we were told it would be at least 12 hours until they could get to us. I called Hertler amd they were here <90 minutes later and the problem was solved quickly and effectively. Their pricing was very fair, the service was great and I cannot thank them enough for stopping the leak and getting the heat back on.

Needed to have my old boiler replaced and had no heat with freezing temps outside. Landis and his assistant came out the same day I called to quote the replacement. And came out to replace the next day after I approved the quote. They were very thorough when installing the replacement, making sure to replace any parts of the existing system that were outdated. The piping and connections look organized, clean and straight, no leaks. They disposed of the old parts and cleaned up before they left. The house is getting nice and toasty now with the new boiler, running better than the old one. I would recommend!

The Saturday morning before a major snowstorm, we woke up and our heat was not blowing out of the vents. I called Landis at Hertler and he was at our house within 30 minutes. He was able to diagnose the problem, and he tried to help us to find the best and most affordable solution by replacing a part with one he had on his truck. The system was on its last legs anyway, so we had to replace the whole furnace despite his best effort to save us money. He left our house in the suburbs and drove to Philadelphia and picked up the new furnace. He came back to our house, installed the new unit, took the old one and made sure it was working well before he left at 6PM on Saturday.
