HIG Construction

I hired HIG Construction to remodel my outdated kitchen and the work they did was superb! Every detail was accounted for without me having to chase those details around, and the result is my dream kitchen! Ken Sherman and his crew are friendly, professional, timely, and so creative. They helped me re-do some smaller areas of my home that I didn’t even think could be made better and now my house is perfect for me. Thank you Ken and all your people for a terrific job!

Driver of the white Dodge Ram pickup cut me off on hoosick street, hit my truck and then lied to insurance agency saying I hit him. If they’re willing to commit insurance fraud for a fender bender, imagine how they’ll take care of a real incident if you hire them!! I’ll be sure to spread the word of how dishonest this company and it’s employee is.

The photos of the basement collapse are from my house. Tropical Storm Debby brought the water that took the wall down. I have no family I could call so, literally, my first call was to Ken as he has done numerous projects at the house. Ken was here in a matter of minutes and knew just what to do. His assurances that it could be repaired and I could live in my house safely again were the moral support I needed as the mud and water poured into the cellar. In less than two weeks the mud and debris have been removed, there's a new wall and a larger, more durable drain. Ken is my hero and an angel on earth! I feel badly that others are awaiting projects with HIG, but thank God when there is a disaster Ken does all he can and more to make things safe and sound.

Owner tried to claim damage to his girlfriends vehicle when she had it towed was present the entire time and told the place where it was dropped off that the damage was preexisting. Owner seems to be a pretty dishonest person. I wouldn't recommend doing business with this company.

We have had a few jobs done by HIG. First was windows, then a master suite addition and most recently a bathroom. Ken and all his workers have been great. Polite, Clean and efficient.
