High Country Stone

High Country Stone is a phenomenal business. They are helpful, knowledgable and very precise and professional. They did our bathroom countertops a few years ago and just finished redoing our kitchen. The installers really strive for perfection. You really get what you pay for with this company. We could not be happier with the results.

More companies around these parts need to take a page from HCS’s book. Not only are they fantastic with design, helping pick out matching themes and patterns, they are also very forthcoming with any detail you might have questions about. From the sales staff all the way to the installation staff are friendly and helpful. What I am most impressed with is that this is the first local company I’ve dealt with that truly understands “under promise and over deliver”. They beat their expected schedule by a week and the final invoice was lower than the estimate.

I called High Country stone for a range modification in late May. After a week and a half they asked for pictures which I sent June 13th. After another week I learned the owner has to review the pics and he is out of town. After the 4th of July I started calling back They put me off, they didn't return messages and finally on July 11th over a month after I called them they said they were not comfortable doing the work because of the seams that have been there the whole time. It took over a month for them to tell me this, then suggested buying a new range when we have been using it for over a month. I was also told by their team that they are getting "A lot" of these range modification requests - seems like they should know what to ask and what to do. Super disappointed - since moving to

It was a pleasure dealing with High Country Stone in Deep Gap North Carolina. Even though there were some rough spots along the way they made good on their promises and delivered a product that was outstanding. Nora and Krista made good on their commitment to make the customer happy whatever it took to make it right. From the ordering process to the installation, we could not be happier with the finished product. They deserve a five-star review in our eyes.

If you would like to spend more money on your quartz countertops, then come to High Country. The service was fine, but couldn’t believe the quote when we received it! We decided to shop around and so glad we did…we saved almost $3000 on the SAME quartz/labor! Just know you can do better.
