I contacted Highlander Roofing in Sylva from my home in Tampa, FL to replace the shingle roof of our family vacation cabin in Bryson City. They were very responsive and personable on the phone and in their Sylva showroom/office. An estimator was able to visit the site (without me needing to be present), review the roof and working conditions, and then send me a thorough estimate that clearly listed everything that would be done. Once the materials were ordered, they even worked with my schedule so that I could be present for installation. The installers were prompt and courteous. They were careful to capture and cleanup all of the old shingle roofing that was removed, replaced a couple pieces of damaged sheathing, and replaced all of the rotted fascia boards in preparation for the new

Storm blew through on 3/3/23, taking a tree through our roof. Called Highlander, and in less than 24 hours, they came out, evaluated, estimated and expertly tarped us. Within a few weeks, we had the repair involving broken rafter, damaged plywood and old shingles fixed, and the price to get a new roof was too good to pass up since our shingles were 16 years old. Shawna, Michele, Jayden and David, along with their crews, Dylan, Brent and Braden (hope I got all the names right?) were top notch phenomenal. I'm building a new home myself on property I bought 15 years ago. It is near the river so everybody thinks I'm rich. The prices I got to fix a leak in an almost new roof we're outrageous. One was even $5,000 more. They set an appointment came and fixed it for a fraction of the cost. All I can say is their dependable honest and nice. Yes I would highly recommend this company.
