Hippodrome Parking Garage

Please allow people to prepay for parking. The wait to get in takes forever with electronic payments. Fix that and this garage would be great. It’s simple! We do love that it’s connected to the Hippodrome!!!

We found parking on the roof. Getting into the theater was a breeze. However, it took us 20 minutes in line to reach the elevator after the show was over. On top of it, we were stuck on the roof for more than half an hour as cars did not budge at all. It can take over half an hour to exit the garage if you are parked on a upper level! Next time, I plan to park on the street or another garage as it will help exit quickly.

Clean and safe. If you have a QR code, do not pull a ticket from the machine to enter the garage or you'll have to pay when you leave. Use the QR code to access the garage. Garage staff knows no way to help out of this predicament.

Event rate for a show at the Hippodrome was $15 which can’t be beat. Tons of staff on hand to help direct traffic and it’s clearly marked which elevators are connected directly the venue. 10/10 without question if you’re headed to the Hippodrome. It’s not so often you encounter a well organized and prepared parking garage and staff (and they did great!)

Great rate for needing a place to park for our event at the theatre. Only confusing part for me was the elevators. I almost thought my car was stollen, because I didn’t see it in the floor I knew I parked on….the elevators are marked by the street they butt up against. There are two sets, and it matters which one you choose. Chalked it up to newbie parking garage user in a big city 🤦🏼‍♀️🤣
