Holland Appliance repair

Scott required $200 upfront to order an icemaker motor. We gave him the cash and he never returned. Was able to text him, he replied that he had ordered the part and was going to schedule the install but never did. I asked him to Zelle us the money back and he never did complaining that he was going through hardship and didn’t have the money even though he returned the part and received the money back from the company and keeping our $200. This is guy is a liar and thief. Be aware that he will take advantage of you as he did to us. Next step will be to issue a complaint to the BBB and get this crook on their list of business not to trust.

Late entry review. I am looking at other reviews here and I would say I had the same problems with Scott - the owner. He was recommended to us by some of our neighborhood friends. When we called him, he was fast to answer the phone. Then when we set-up the appointment, he was fast to come to our house. When he got to our place, he diagnosed the problem of our dryer and within 30 mins he replaced the parts. He showed my wife that the dryer was working and heat coming out. When I got home from work and tried to used the dryer , it was not working. No heat was coming out. We tried to called him several times but no answers. The next day he finally called and went back to the house. He checked the dryer again and fixed something. He told us that if it break down again, it probably the mother b

We were experiencing problems with our washer. We used Holland Appliance Repair in the past with good results. We called and Scott came out and “diagnosed “ the problem with the drum springs. He ordered new ones and came back the next day to replace them and run the machine through a “test” (shorter) cycle. He collected the $260 (not by credit card), and left. Soon after we tried to wash a medium load of laundry and the same problem occurred. We called Scott right away and got voice mail. We continued to call and text him over the course of a few days either no luck. We are out $260 and still a broken machine. We do NOT recommend Holland Appliance as he is not trustworthy nor reputable. I’d give him a zero if I could.

My washing machine drain pump went out. Called Scott with Holland Appliance Repair. He was at the house the next morning. Scott was prompt, professional, clean, courteous, and explained everything he was doing. Fast and efficient. Fixed in less than 24 hours from breaking down.HIGHLY RECOMMEND! THANKS SCOTT! ***BIG BOX store quoted me double and I would have had to wait 10 days!!

I called Scott because I was having issues with my Samsung top load washer constantly throwing itself off-balance and my dryer continually adding time into a cycle and never shutting off. Scott came out and was able to diagnose the issues within just a few minutes. He ordered the parts I needed and was up front about the cost. Parts were ready within 1 day and Scott installed and fixed everything quickly & efficiently and it’s all working perfectly now. I appreciated his open & honest communication & his professionalism. He is very trustworthy and I will be calling him for any other appliance repair needs I may experience in the future!
