Holyoke Center Garage (Propark)

I had the same problem as a previous reviewer, and it happened today. I parked for about 2-3 hours. When I initially entered, the attendant told me the ticket I had just received wouldn’t work, so he took it and gave me a new ticket instead. When I tried to leave, that replacement ticket was suddenly “not verified” either. That very same attendant then took my credit card and charged me without clearly explaining the amount. Only after the charge went through did I realize I was billed the full-day rate of $40 instead of the appropriate 2-3 hour rate. This made no sense, since the ticket issues were not caused by me. Something about this process feels like a scam, and I strongly recommend using a different parking garage if possible.

I had the same problem as Rachel Haggard. I got the code for THIS place through Spot Hero. When we tried to enter, their employee came and "verified" our code, but when we tried to leave, the code didn't work, and the same employee started spouting nonsense about "it was the agent's code, not ours," and we had to pay another $40. This means they not only tried to fix the problem, but are now using it to scam people.

Pedestrian exits are a little weird to get to, keep an eye out for signs, lots of dimly lit exits. No cell service inside so it's hard to access online parking apps or let friends know where you parked in the structure. I ended up having to run outside and screenshot my parking pass to be able to exit, service is spotty between the buildings too so I recommend figuring that out before you go back in. No public restrooms I saw.

Used Spot Hero to book a space here. When I came back to my car….this was the situation. The spots are too small….I drive an Impreza which is a small car.

Used BestParkking to book in advance. Price was reasonable for 24hr stay. Located right next to Harvard Square, super convenient. The parking attendant was very helpful answering my questions. The only down side was that there were cars parked at the turns (obviously added parking spots to put more cars in). This made turning around the corners very difficult.
