I represented a 90 year old woman who took 30k from her, had her sign off that the roof was done to get the bank to pay them, and never put a single shingle on her roof. Poor lady was stuck with the measly $12,000 contractors bond I sued for. Rick, one of the owners, had every excuse in the book why he couldn’t do the job after more than a year. Sick, family death, no workers, bad weather, broken truck, etc. What a cruel human being taking advantage of a 90 year old woman. Avoid this company.

This company installed gutters and a carport roof on my home. The gutters are installed incorrectly and have multiple issues. The carport is mostly ok, but leaks. I have reached out to them multiple times and have had no resolution despite them saying that they would fix the issues multiple times.

I purchased a home, and 4 window screens were missing. Home Guard Exteriors came to my house before the 4th of July to give us a bid. They made 3 trips too measure our custom screens. 8/6 a month later, I sent an email asking for an update. They replied: Good morning looks like we will have them in are hands on 8/14 then we will set up install have a great weekend. 8/16 Good morning just waiting on the patio door screen will update and install as soon as i have it Have a great weekend 8/29 after not hearing from them; I sent another email: It’s been two weeks since you said you received our screens and you have not installed them. After two months of delays, Rick still has not started the work. He has promised for the last three weeks, to refund my deposit. Since he is no longer responding to text messages, I am hoping that he sees this, and refunds my deposit.

It's been over two years since i first contracted with them, the work that was done was late, shoddy, messy and unfinished (no vents, different color metals, rotton wood, door doesn't lock, board just resting above door- my current contractor was so confused, as was i until i realized he was not coming back to fix it or finish the rest of the job. He has refused to refund my money for work he promised to do every week for months. I changed my vacation plans for him to stand be up multiple times over the summer.
