I had the great opportunity to volunteer with this organization. I was introduced to them by a coworker who serves on their board. They were so welcoming and the impact they are having on our community is outstanding. I was able to participate in their Fall Repair fest today and it was so much fun.

I have volunteered with NeighborLink 4 times now and will continue to volunteer. This organizations mission is so amazing and refreshing to see such selfless individuals wanting to help our elderly population. Reading some of the other reviews makes me realize we are all humans. No organization is perfect when it is lead by humans, we all have flaws and this organization is not exempt. Please consider volunteering as I have a great experience every time and have met each homeowner each time and they are so grateful for these tasks that may not seem big to us but it really is to those who can't do it. By doing these things we are providing more time that these great people can remain in their homes. Here are a few photos from my experiences with NeighborLink.

Charitable people, especially looking to help the poor and elderly with the upkeep of their housing properties. (Their meetings feel too much like high school assemblies for my comfort, tho.)

Once approved for the program I was excited to move forward. I belive intake was done by Tom. I met him and his family. His son was such a gentleman! I called several times and wasn't sure what they did, The lady Mary who answers calls and returns them is very confusing and secretive. Doesn't make you feel welcome to understand what they do or if they will be of assistance to you. It was always a cat and mouse process and feeling more confused than before the call. She is off putting in a way that as soon as she answers id have to take a deep breath and smile, then Remind myself I needed the assistance so deal with it. She made it hard to get on the list always telling me to call back in a month or two for everything I called about, wouldn't put me on the list or anything. I missed almo

They have yet to come help my wife and I. They contact with us. We told them what we needed done. They sent email to my wife asking what color she wanted the softets and replace the rooten wood around the garage door. They told her they'd be here in December. Then she called again and they said 2 week of January. They're still not here to help us. WE'RE DISABLED and need help. My wife spoke to someone and our file has been LOST? That's not helping us if you're Lying about when you'll be out here!
