Home Services at The Home Depot

We scheduled an appointment for a free quote on a bath remodel. The sales person came out and what sounded good at the time changed the next morning. We immediately cancelled by email and confirmed the cancellation by phone the very next morning. Here's the the problem. A deposit of $500 was required at the time and instead of returning the check, three weeks later Home Depot cashed the check. We disputed with our bank, and Home Depot refunded the money back to the bank. The next problem. Home Depot agreed that the check should not have been cashed. However, I'm receiving letters from TRW about a $500 bounced check. I've called home Depot, no help. I've called TRW and still no resolution other than the they want me to gather and prove and work for them. Do they really care about the cu

Paid them to install new flooring and upgrade a toilet, and they threw away my old toilet before telling me the new toilet couldn't fit and they don't have any push-button toilets that can fit. They expected me to buy a new toilet just like my old perfectly fine toilet they just threw away. They are inconsiderate and unprofessional, and I had to argue to get my installation fee returned, but they still charged me $75 for removing and throwing away my old toilet. Now I going to be without a toilet for at least two days. Probably longer. I regret ever having any dealings with this store, so I will never go back to any Home Depot location. I will go to Lowes instead where maybe they actually care about their customers.

I ordered very expensive quartz counter tops through this store. The signs in the store said "10 day install" and yet here I am a month later still without counters fully installed. When the installers showed up yesterday with the product not only were they not cut correctly but the also didn't have enough material. So now I'm looking at another week of waiting. The response from the kitchen design team has been underwhelming at best. They seem not to care about customer service and lack motivation to represent their brand well. If you're looking for countertops go anywhere else.

Attempted to have a back door installed. Staff is rude, seldom anwser phones, poorest customer service that I have ever experienced in my life. Threw in the towel and went elsewhere for my installation service.
