With so many other options to choose from, I’m not sure why customer service is not top priority in every business. Being kind costs you nothing. I’m placing an order and I was asked for my ID do the cashier could type my name and address in. I gave some pushback because I told her I could verbally give her the information her seeing and holding my id was not necessary. She said it was faster for her to type with one hand while holding my id in the other as she pecked one letter at a time. I continued to share with her that as the customer she should have done what was most comfortable for me and not for her. She handed me my id and said I could find someone else to help me. She would have been fired instantly. She lost my order for 8 butcher block countertops because of her nasty attitud

My husband and I decided to order new garage doors, and after checking out many companies, decided to go with the Home Depot because of their claims that they take care of everything. We went to this store to place our order, but they didn't have samples of the door for us to look at and were not very knowledgeable about the product. Our order was not placed in store, but online when we got home. We were contacted by the garage door manufacturer/installer the next day to set up for measurements. After not hearing anything after a week, and not seeing their online installation portal update, we called the Home Depot store, to follow up. This review is for the home depot installation services of the Joslyn rd store. Took 1 month to get a guy out to take measurements and forced me to take a day off work. The day of measurement no one called at all so I called them asking where they were at 1 pm since they were supposed to be in a window up to that time. Next the story changed to 11-3. At 2 i took my kids 1 mile up the rd to get drive thru mcdonalds foolishly thinking i would get a heads up call. What i got was a call telling me they were at my house. No problem i told them i would be there in under 5 minutes. I made it in 120 seconds and have the time stamp on my phone to prove it. They refused to wait 120 seconds for me. Do not purchase flooring from this company. From the very start it was lies and we have had nothing but headache after headache from them with no resolution. STARTING FROM THE TIME you call them, they never have anyone answering the phone. The management has no clue what is going on and every single person you talk to tells you a different story. Im warning you run from them. You will regret every step of it.

Was just told by an associate that there are no contractors in their network that can replace an exterior door and storm door. Not much of a home services network..that's a pretty basic job.
