Home Services at The Home Depot

One star only because I had to have at least one. This review is for Home Depot Delivery Services. Purchased a dishwasher from Home Depot and paid for delivery and installation. The crew showed up and in the process of installing the dishwasher they cause a leak in the water shut off valve. Various attempts to fix it by the delivery crew were futile and the line was still leaking. While moving the new dishwasher into the drug it across my wood floors causing large deep scratches in the floor. After the crew “finished” the installation I looked at the dishwasher and the bottom was flush with the cabinet but the top extended out over 2inches I pointed that out and the crew tried to correct the installation. I have had a long history of exceptional service from the associates at this store. From tips and pointers in the garden section to going above and beyond to help me for my new washer/dryer in my antique home, I can not sing the praises of this store enough. The customer service and access to experts you get with Home Depot can NOT be topped.

If I could leave 0 stars, I would. Do NOT use them for window installation. We have the biggest mess thanks to multiple people from Home Depot. HD corporate got involved and they were even less helpful. Installation was wrong multiple times and now we have to replace Sheetrock and structure. Who would have thought you would/could get this kind of service from a big box company. SMH
