Home Services at The Home Depot

Watch out for this bait and switch scam! I filled out a form on the Home Depot website to get an estimate to install mini split ACs I found on the HD website. I received a call from a contractor identifying themselves as "ARS Home Depot" and I made an appointment for them to give me an installation quote. When the ARS estimator came out he gave me a quote three times higher than the cost of the equipment I saw advertised on the Home Depot website and after talking with him I found out they don't even install Equipment from Home Depot! This seems like false advertising.

I booked an estimate at Home Depot to get my floor redone, and out of three other flooring companies, this was undoubtedly the worst. First, they told me that I would have to go to the store personally to pick out the flooring. So, I go to Home Depot and meander around aimlessly looking for the right tile. There were multiple employees there that saw me and did not offer to help me. I sat at the desk in the flooring aisle for ten minutes, so i called the store. Someone finally came to help me. The employee seemed rather rude and did not offer any condolences for my lost time. She showed me the tile and I proceeded to ask her questions. She then told me that if you have a piano or a pool table, they will not even move it for you, which seemed rather ridiculous. It was a charge of $100 dolla

Received broken item and had to return it.

Voice mail would not recognize "attic ladder" nor "garage attic ladder." No way to speak to a real person.
