Home Services at The Home Depot

5 months ago we paid in full to have our cabinets refaced and new countertops. We were told verbally 6 to 8 weeks, the contract stated by Jan 19th it would be complete. On Jan 6th the installation finally began after months of no communication. The only reason it started then was because I called them non stop. At the end of installation they realized they "forgot" to order a majority of the supplies, so for 2 months I have been living without some cabinet doors, crown molding, island wrap, and more. Ironically the minth before they informed me the supplies were in and they had to make sure everything was there before they could schedule installation. When they were failing to communicate I wanted to cancel the project but was told we would be charged 35 percent of what we paid up front. T

Got a cold call after buying a new home. They offered a water test which I initially declined, didn’t want a high pressure sales pitch. Lady promised it wouldn’t be that. She asked for a backup phone number only to be used if I am unreachable on primary phone, I gave my wife’s cell.. Hours later representative called her without trying my number first. We had something come up the next day, so I tried to call all numbers we had for this company. No one responded. At the time of our appointment we got a call from a third numberasking where we were. I explained we tried to inform them, but were unable to reach anyone. We set a new time. No one showed at the agreed time, so I called the guy back…he explained that he put the request in the system for the new time and it wasn’t assig

I am getting my kitchen cabinets refaced and its been a disaster. Theres no communication, my installers have disappeared and I can’t get a respose from my project management team. But of course, they have no issues collecting full payment upfront. I would never recommend them to anyone.

What a disorganized retailer. Purchased carpet from them. They lost my order for carpet and installation. Called three days later and had to refill out paper work. They wrote down my address incorrectly and the installer could not find my house. They charge up front before installation. What a waste of time! Took over 2 weeks. All I wanted was a closet and small living room carpeted. Very frustrating. I would not recommend this store to anyone for carpet.

After a miserable experience at the Home Depot in St. Augustine, I tried my luck at the Home Depot in Palm Coast and could get no help whatsoever. After asking for help and told that someone would come to help me in the new water heater area, no one ever showed up. I did observed several employees playing grab ass and another employee walking around literally eating a bag of popcorn with his nose in the air shaking the bag of popcorn into his mouth. This while customers can get no help. Its really a shame that Home Depot has gotten so terrible at serving it's customers. I will stick with Lowe's and Taylor Hardware in the future.
