I wish I had listened to my gut and used Home Depot for the laminate flooring in my bedroom but I used JB Flooring instead. BIG MISTAKE! Never use JB Flooring!! I was told that a pad was included in my purchase, but it was just a moisture barrier (I was not offered or told that I needed a muffler pad) and now my floor echoes when you walk on it with sneakers! When the dogs walk on it, it sounds like snare drums! After many phone calls, JB Flooring they told me that it would cost me $560 to remove the floor, put the pad down and replace the floor. I would buy the muffler pad, but I'm supposed to pay $560 for their mistake? Ridiculous!! I have since found that Home Depot ALWAYS highly recommends a muffler pad for their installations. JB never mentioned it and now I have to live with
