We were referred to Daniel Barton and Home Spec Inc. by the real estate agent of the home we were interested in. As we currently live six hours away, we were unable to be present for the home inspection, but it is safe to say Daniel was truly our eyes and ears, and we were confident he had our best interest at heart. While we considered ourselves to be very diligent and observant during the showing, we were amazed and impressed with Daniel’s findings which we had overlooked. Daniel’s experience and expertise is evident, his report, which included photos, was comprehensive, and we appreciated his recommendations regarding “next steps”. He’s very approachable, communicative, and personable, and we feel you’d be hard-pressed to find a better home inspector to represent you!

Daniel and Tom did a great job inspecting my own. They were very thorough with checking for items. They also gave recommendations on ways to fix things they saw. Overall, honest and reliable people. Will plan to use them again if ever needed.

The team at Home Spec did an amazing job! They were extremely thorough and timely during the inspection. They also went out of their way to insure our inspection took place before our deadline passed. Daniel did a great job informing us his findings, as well as informing of us potential options for improvement(s). The inspection report itself was easy to read and provided many resource’s throughout. We were sent the results the same day, despite the inspection ending later in the evening. The pricing was also extremely reasonable for such a thorough report, with many additional add ons. My experience with Home Spec has been great and I will continue to recommend their services.
