This is the best hardware store/home improvement store in the country, possibly even, the world. I went in today with my mother to purchase some lumber and plywood for an unexpected project and Jimmy and Kevin were so helpful in showing us options and cutting it for us. We even had to go back a second time due to wrong measurements and everyone in the store was so helpful, knowledgeable, and friendly and never once made us feel incapable or like we were a nuisance. We love supporting our local businesses and will be avoiding big box stores because of the amazing customer service we received today!
First visit and loved it! We stopped by after visiting the grizzly nursery. Surprisingly, quite a few of their plants were in much better shape. I think they even had more of a selection for indoor plants/non-cold hardy plants. I got a monstrous fern for under $14! Unreal. See pics. Customer service was top notch. Super friendly. They enforce face masks/coverings. Grizzly Nursery does not since it's mainly outdoors. Some employees and customers wear them. Not all, just FYI. Pretty great prices. This store reminds me of a mix of a tractor supply store and a home Depot. Highly recommend and will definitely return. Apparently, they send nicely discounted coupons via 📪. That's what brought us there initially. Become a member-it's free! They also offer military discounts. Unfortunately, they fo
In the wake of the devastation around Sandy Creek in Leander, TX, one name stood out among the chaos… HomeBase Copperas Cove, and more specifically, Mark. What this company and this man did for our team and this community was nothing short of extraordinary. With no personal ties to the area and no obligation to get involved, Mark rose to the occasion with unwavering compassion and leadership. He didn’t just talk about helping, he simply took action, and mobilized resources in a way that truly made a difference. His support came at a time when we were facing unimaginable conditions: roads torn apart, people missing, homes gone, and very little support from larger agencies. Mark’s quick thinking, generosity, and heart for others helped us bring aid, supplies, and hope to an area that was s
I've shopped here quite alot. If some of their prices are a bit higher, I've found that it's still cheaper for a small purchase than the cost of fuel to drive to a big box store 20 miles distance. However, I feel compelled to say that today I was insulted when making my purchase. It's not necessarily a HB problem alone but rather, it seems to be a culture-wide phenomenon. It's where the cashier asks if you want to ROUND UP and donate the extra change. On the surface that seems generous and it hurts very little for someone spending 15 bucks to donate 15 cents... BUT, the entire concept is flawed and deceptive. Multiply and compound all those daily purchaes and donations until you have hundreds of thousands of dollars that the corporate chain then adds to the other hundreds of stores in
I just recently discovered the HomeBase and I'm thrilled I did. What a spectacular store! It's like a wonderful blend of Lowe's, TSC, and Academy. I browsed the store for over an hour, discovering all they have to offer. The Garden Center is spectacular! They offer beautiful, healthy plants at a great price, and they even had some plants in stock I have not been able to find elsewhere. It is a great selection! It is a must stop on your next visit. Nothing compares to their Garden Center! The staff offered unsurpassed customer service, they were super friendly, and very helpful. I love places that have terrific customer service, and HomeBase has some of the best. HomeBase is probably one of the best home improvement stores I've visited. They offer a wide and wonderful selection of so m
