Terrible Experience with Hometown Carpet: I am extremely disappointed with the service and quality provided by Hometown Carpet. We selected flooring and quarter round, paid for a measurement, and received a total with an installation date. On the day of installation, the crew arrived reeking of cigarette smoke, which has now permeated our entire home. To make matters worse, they didn't install the quarter round as agreed. When I contacted the store, a part-time employee was unhelpful stating I’m just part time I don’t know what your talking about, and I overheard the woman who handled our sale denying that quarter round was included, despite me seeing it written out on the measurement form when we paid $1400. Wish I could give this place a zero star Where do I start , first my steps they left nails sticking up in the steps and we ended up stepping on them, I did manage to finally get them out to fix that, they left my daughters room a BIG mess Wrinkled carpet, left hardwood floor under the carpet, which left the car way to high and has wrinkled even more, they left the carpet rubbing the door with no trim , no gap between the carpet and door , we have to force the door open which in return has caused my child to hurt her feet to the point her toe was even bleeding all from the carpet not being done right and her trying to get her door open, I’m going to have to pay and try to have something done with her room , PLUS I was wayyyy over changed , they man who measured it did way to much and of cou

Great customer service and installation team is top-notch. Highly recommend this company as Lowe's hires local installers who don't really care about the installation of carpets and flooring unfortunately.

They did not complete installation of products purchased at my daughter's house. Then would not correct their mistake after they were contacted about it and now won't answer the phone at all. Buyer beware! Look at past reviews.

Thank you Sue B and the crew at Hometown Carpet! We ordered the flooring last week and was installed today! It looks BEAUTIFUL!! I have always loved going in their shop. You are always welcomed with a smile and Sue B is such a doll. I do have to say that I sure miss the doggies running around. 😞 Anyway, if y'all want someone who will go out of their way to make a customer happy, head on down to locally owned, Hometown Carpet and flooring!!
